Woon is a global telecoms executive and has been leading cross cultural and multi-location teams. She has 15 years of experience in 2 corporate MNCs (DDB and Nokia) and 13 years running her own businesses in e-commerce, mobile and web apps. She is adept at assessing new markets to conceptualize products and services that will create value and impact. She developed the P.L.A.Y. framework for meaningful living aligned across Body-Mind-Heart.
She grew up in Singapore and has a BA from Cornell University where she also gained proficiency in Japanese while writing her honors thesis “A Vicious Cycle – Japanese Women in the Workplace”. Since then, she has over 29 years of experience living and working in Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. She coaches mainly in English and can converse in Mandarin, Spanish and Japanese as needed. Woon currently divides her time between Cape Town and Singapore.
Woon is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) as well as a certified coach skilled in values, brain-based and solutions focused methodologies. Her ongoing curiosity in Positive Psychology and Leadership Embodiment adds texture to her life, coaching and training. She has more than 12 years of experience coaching over 500 executives in public, private and voluntary sectors.
She also specializes in team coaching and leadership training. Clients can expect highly energetic and inspiring engagements that also leverage technology within the transformative process of growth. Her clients are encouraged to live authentically and discover new useful insights that not just improve their lives but also add value to workplace transformation towards the “good society”.
